Both have a clear center spot which makes the central image stand out clearly.
SAND SCREEN has a smoky appearance while SOFT SCREEN has an irregularly uneven surface.
With SOFT-SPOT, the size of the clear part in the center of the picture varies depending on the lens and aperture used.
